Sparx Sharpener 3 – sharpen your skates yourself

The Sparx Sharpener 3 (model ES300) is the third generation of the Sparx skate sharpener and, according to Sparx, the manufacturer's flagship. You clamp the skate in, select the number of cycles and the machine sharpens automatically – evenly along the entire blade.

This version comes without BEAM. You can add the laser measuring device at any time; the machine is prepared for it.

Features

• Self-centering skate clamp: centers the blade on the grinding ring – without aligning by hand
• Even sharpening: The carriage moves the grinding ring along the blade with constant pressure and speed. According to Sparx, the blade profile is preserved in the process.
• LCD display: select the number of cycles, read the remaining ring life of the grinding ring, see notifications from the machine
• App connection: Connect the machine to the Sparx Hockey App via Bluetooth for extended features
• Preset precision alignment: plug in and sharpen; the optical alignment kit is included for fine adjustment
• Integrated filter system: filter and fan collect the grinding dust; the machine tells you when the filter needs to be replaced
• BEAM compatible: The Sparx BEAM is available separately

Good to know

• Grinding ring not included: To sharpen, you need at least one Sparx grinding ring (Radius, FIRE or FLAT). Please order it at the same time.
• Figure skates need the figure skate adapter, which is available separately; goalie skates with a cowling need the Goalie Risers.
• Insert the travel guard before every transport – the Sparx manual requires this.
• The smartphone shown is not included.
