Sparx Goalie Risers – for goalie skates with a cowling

If your goalie skate has a cowling – that is, the plastic shell that protrudes beneath the boot – you need the Goalie Risers. They raise the skate in the skate clamp so that it can be clamped in and sharpened.

According to Sparx, you sharpen goalie skates without a cowling like any player skate. Most new models no longer have a cowling.

How to use

• Press the Risers with their pins into the mounts of the skate clamp until they click into place.
• To remove them, pull them upwards at both ends.

For the Sparx skate sharpeners ES100, ES200 and Sharpener 3 (ES300).

Good to know

• For goalies, Sparx recommends a radius between 3/8" and 1/2", depending on the bite they want.
• The FeatherBlend function is not intended for goalie skates.
