Blademaster Sharpening

We from HP´s Sport Shop are using a Blademaster Infinity Skate Sharpener with a fitting stone (8VBP) for the best quality sharpening for you (the customer). What is something that you need to watch out when getting your skates sharpend? Basically your choosing between a Radius of Hallow and a Flat Bottom finish: Radius of Hallow has a sharper edge and therefore a lot stable than a Flat Bottom, even though it has a better grip than the Flat Bottom one you have more resistance during gliding. Flat Bottom is great for players that glide more and arent much in thight places (in the corners). One drawback that you have with the Flat Bottom is that you loose an edge pretty quick and then the schliff is gone. the best radius for you depends on your body weight, for player that are pretty light => 3/8" for players that are light => 1/2" for players that average => 5/8" for players that are a bit heavier => 3/4" We usually work with a 5/8" (H3) sharpnes, for more info check the chart below in our Technical details.
