CCM TACKS XR PRO Shin Guards Youth is designed for junge Spieler und Kinder. The Max Coverage FZN shield design combines an injection-moulded shin cap with an inner plastic sling and self-conforming calf protection. A knee cap with D3O® Zero comfort donut helps manage energy around the knee, while D3O® reinforcement and a durable liner complete the design.
Size guide & how to measure
While seated, bend the knee to around 90° and measure from the centre of the knee to the top of the skate boot above the first eyelet. Skates worn with the tongue outside may require one size up.

Fit note: The knee cap should sit centred and the pad should meet the skate tongue without riding up when bending.
Fit and wear
The knee cap should sit centred over the kneecap and the guard should finish at the top of the skate boot. CCM generally recommends going one size up when wearing the skate tongue outside the guard (“Tongues In”). The calf strap should hold the guard securely without digging in.
