Sparx Skate Blade Lifts – sharpen further forward at the toe

The Skate Blade Lifts raise the blade slightly in the clamp. This lets the grinding ring reach the blade further forward at the toe, and the transition area becomes smaller – the spot where the ring first meets the steel.

According to Sparx, the Lifts were first used by NHL equipment managers. Now they are available to all owners of a Sparx skate sharpener.

How to use

• Insert two Lifts into your Sparx skate sharpener and sharpen as usual.
• On the Sharpener 3, they sit in the two slots on the right of the skate clamp, with the angled side facing the center. The skate lies with its toe pointing to the left.
